Wife's Attempt to Hide Financial Information Results in Order for He Deposition

Wife and her attorney engaged in repeated refusals to comply with obligations to be cooperative and forthcoming about Wife's financial information. This resulted in Husband wanting to depose her. Wife and her attorney filed for a protective order to refuse to be deposed. Attorney Stephen Rocha in representing Husband successfully obtained an order compelling Wife to not only be deposed but also turn over documents that she refused to provide earlier in the case. At the deposition, substantial useful information was obtained from Wife including the non-disclosure of $18,000 she received from her family that was relevant in a reduced spousal support award to Wife from Husband later in the case
